I earned a Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University and became a licensed practitioner in 2018. I have been seeing clients (individual adults and couples) ever since, and opened Eric Dean Counseling in January 2022. I am trained in EMDR Therapy, am Internal Family Systems-informed, and developed my own continuing education training on working with loss and grief for fellow practitioners. Before becoming a therapist, I had many years of experience in the film industry.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in the film industry. And while film still has an important place in my life (and in my office decor), the work I do now is the best and most rewarding that I have ever done.
